Product Features and Options

Pre-Insulated Configuration

The tube is supplied with insulation already fitted, reducing the separate insulation work required during installation. Select the insulation dimensions as part of the complete tube specification.

Copper-Aluminum Construction

This product uses copper-aluminum construction. Identify this material requirement clearly when ordering, particularly when comparing it with an all-copper tube specification.

Black Rubber Insulation Option

Black rubber insulation is available on request. Include the required insulation thickness and application conditions in your inquiry so the appropriate configuration can be confirmed.

Custom Dimensions and End Connections

Custom outside diameters, wall thicknesses, and lengths are available on request. Tube ends can also be fitted with nuts. Provide the required nut dimensions and end configuration for an accurate quotation.

Technical Specifications

The table below lists the copper-aluminum tube dimensions in our catalog.

Tube Size Outside Diameter (mm) Wall Thickness (mm) Listed Length (m)
1/4″ 6.35 0.75 1–50
3/8″ 9.52 0.80 1–50
1/2″ 12.70 0.80 1–50
5/8″ 15.88 1.00 1–50
3/4″ 19.05 1.00 1–50
7/8″ 22.22 1.20 1–50
1″ 25.40 1.20 1–50
1-1/8″ 28.58 1.20 1–50
1-1/4″ 31.75 1.50 1–50
1-1/2″ 38.10 1.50 1–50

Outside diameter refers to the tube, excluding insulation. The listed length is the product supply length; the permitted installed piping length depends on the equipment requirements.

Application and Selection

This range is intended for air-conditioning connections, including the central air-conditioning applications identified in our catalog.

Before selecting a tube, check the equipment requirements for tube material, outside diameter, wall thickness, end connections and insulation. Include the refrigerant and operating conditions in your inquiry so the proposed configuration can be reviewed against your application.

Where the equipment specification requires all-copper tubing, select a product that meets that requirement.

Ordering Information

To request a quotation, please provide:

  • Tube outside diameter and wall thickness.
  • Required length per piece or coil.
  • Insulation material and thickness.
  • End connection details and nut dimensions.
  • Quantity and any required size combinations.
  • Equipment application and destination market.

If you require a two-tube assembly, specify the dimensions and length of each tube separately. A drawing or photograph of the required connection can help clarify the configuration.
