Level Wound Copper Coil

Copper tubing supplied in level-wound coils for manufacturing orders. Match the tube section and coil package to your unwinding, handling, and production requirements.

  • Layered coil supply format
  • Seven catalog OD families
  • Tube and coil dimensions specified separately

Product Overview

Nexnice level-wound copper coils organize the supplied tube in successive layers. The product is defined by both the copper tube specification and the dimensions of the coil that the production equipment will receive.

The catalog includes a matrix of OD and wall combinations. A marked intersection represents a listed combination; it should not be read as a continuous range in which every diameter can use every wall thickness.

Product Features and Options

Tube Section Selection

Choose an available OD and wall combination from the matrix. Add the required material condition and tube interior specification, since the term level-wound describes the supply format rather than the internal surface.

Coil Handling Dimensions

Coil inside diameter, outside diameter, height and mass affect handling and equipment fit. Include the receiving line’s limits so the proposed coil package can be reviewed before quantities are finalized.

A Clear Quantity Basis

State whether the requirement is expressed as length, net copper mass or several coils. Identify any target amount per coil and packaging requirements so quotations can be compared on the same basis.

Length per coil Specify with the inquiry.

Choose OD and wall as a confirmed combination. Coil length, mass, and package dimensions are specified with the order.

Application and Selection

Use this supply format for a production requirement that calls for coiled tube feed. The tube and package should be matched to the receiving process, including any subsequent straightening, forming, or cutting requirements.

For repeat manufacturing orders, keep the tube drawing and coil-packing specification together. Changes to either can affect receipt and handling even when the nominal tube size stays the same.
